This is a performance taking place at two networked locations: a top-down projection interactive floor and a screen-based control interface. A maximum of three participants will take part in this performance: one will play the ‘controller’ who sends instructions via the screen interface; the other two participants will play the ‘puppets’ on the interactive floor and react to the controller’s instructions.
The concept of “Puppetmaster” calls for awareness of the implications of surveillance, control and their impact on society. The gameplay of Puppetmaster is intentionally open-ended, it will be a performance with intertwining themes of obsession for control, co-operation and rebellion: a miniature tale of class struggle.
