Shadow is an interactive installation that projects a disembodied, autonomous, human shadow on the ground. This apparently living shadow attempts to merge itself with the viewer’s real shadow. When this occurs, the invisible figure, implied by the virtual shadow, inhabits the viewer’s own personal space. Real-time 3D graphics and video sensing are used to produce this work of interactive light.

Puppetmaster
This is a performance taking place at two networked locations: a top-down projection interactive floor and a screen-based control interface. A maximum of three participants will take part in this performance: one will play the ‘controller’ who sends instructions via the screen interface; the other two participants will play the ‘puppets’ on the interactive floor and react to the controller’s instructions.
The concept of “Puppetmaster” calls for awareness of the implications of surveillance, control and their impact on society. The gameplay of Puppetmaster is intentionally open-ended, it will be a performance with intertwining themes of obsession for control, co-operation and rebellion: a miniature tale of class struggle.

Alliance
This work involves bodily engagement of audience. I think it uses flash actionscript to program the motion tracking system and also the word database system. With help of a top-down motion tracking system, audiences movement is represented by the Chinese words in the screen and their active participation will create or destroy the word phase relationship in Chinese language. Additional to the combinatorial autonomy of the system in phase-making, audiences independence to move is critical in this work.
Artist Statement
“To slightly change a word of a phrase in order to change the other word’s function significantly.Move your body in front of the screen to prove the rich combinatorial possibilities of phrase-making in the Chinese language.
The same word can always be combined with many other words to form expressions of totally different meanings.”

3D projection on a Building
This is probably the most elaborate 3D projection on architecture that I have ever seen. You dont have to believe me, watch the video calledHow it would be, if a house was dreaming and say your opinion. The conception of this project consistently derives from its underlying architecture the theoretic conception and visual pattern of the Hamburg Kunsthalle. The Basic idea of narration was to dissolve and break through the strict architecture of O. M. Ungers Galerie der Gegenwart. Resultant permeabilty of the solid facade uncovers different interpretations of conception, geometry and aesthetics expressed through graphics and movement. A situation of reflexivity evolves describing the constitution and spacious perception of this location by means of the building itself. This was produced by Urbanscreen
